Draw Suki, a tiger cub.
We are drawing her in 3 main positions called Keyframes and then drawing the in-between positions of Suki to make her movements look smoother.
Open Microsoft Paint or another free Paint editor. Using the Curved Line Tool, let’s draw Suki’s face as she’s looking at us with her cheek tucked to the side.
The ears are easy to forget and they are so fun to draw. They are just 3 or 4 Curved Lines connected together. One is ear is drawn behind and one in front.
Her eyes are very important. Let’s just the outline and then we will move them to the correct position – wide on her face. Just draw one and then we will copy, paste, and rotate the other so they are perfect matches.
4. Nose and Mouth
Just one Curved Line for the nose and two Curved Lines for either sides of the mouth.
One long Curved Line down for the back and two matching Curved Lines for the front legs. The stomach and back leg are 4 Curved Lines. The feet can be drawn with almost C shaped Curved Lines.
Keep the feet simple with just Curved Lines for the toes and tail end. One foot is facing the front.
Keep it simple with one line down and one line up for the chest.
To make a perfectly matching set of eyes, I only draw one eye. Then using the Select tool, draw a box around the eye, Copy/Paste, Rotate, Flip Horizontal. The result is a perfectly matching second eye.
Using the Fill bucket, color Suki with deep Orange and off-white for the chest and stomach. Eyes are all black except one Curved Line in each and one tiny Circle of white for reflection.
